Well Abandonment Service

Sometimes a drilled or bored well must be permanently abandoned or repaired if it acts as a source or channel of contamination.The well owner is responsible for having the well permanently abandoned. Don't try this by yourself!  A properly abandoned well must be cleaned, plugged, and sealed, and certain procedures are required.  For reasons on why proper abandonment is important, please visit our FAQ page.  If the need arises for well abandonment, call Burden Well Drilling at (870) 421-4797.
